PRESS RELEASE

Event Brings ‘Masters of Love’, the Gottmans, to Vancouver

March 18, 2025

VANCOUVER—BC company Real Love Ready is set to host a three-day learning event in Vancouver featuring global relationship thinkers, including Drs. John and Julie Gottman. The influential clinical psychologists and love researchers have been at the forefront of relationship science for more than 50 years.

In Bloom 2025: A Love & Relationships Summit runs April 4-6 at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel and online. The event is open to anyone looking to improve their relationship skills.

"The Gottmans have revolutionized our understanding of love and relationships," says Robin Ducharme, founder of Real Love Ready. “This event gives Vancouverites a rare opportunity to learn directly from the world’s most trusted authorities on the subject.”

Real Love Ready is the same company that brought New York-based psychotherapist Esther Perel to the city in 2023, and Dr. Gabor Maté and Rae Maté, to the stage last year.

With social disconnection on the rise, building social skills and community has never been more crucial. This is especially relevant in Vancouver, a city grappling with a reputation for chronic loneliness.

Says Ducharme: “Post-pandemic, we’ve moved beyond notions of “single”, “dating,” and “searching” to ask how we can build and sustain relationships of all kinds.”

The Gottmans will appear alongside other well-known relationship experts, including Damona Hoffman (dating coach and contributor to The Drew Barrymore Show), Dr. Ramani Durvasula (clinical psychologist and NYT bestselling author), and Dr. Shamyra Howard (sexologist).

Tickets for the full weekend event are sold out, but single-day tickets (for April 5) and virtual tickets are still available at realloveready.com
