The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Strategist to expand our reach, spark meaningful engagement, and drive growth across platforms. You’ll build and implement a social strategy aligned with our brand and growth goals, while developing and leading community engagement across organic, paid, influencer, UGC, and social search channels.

This role balances content execution with strategic storytelling, ensuring both business and brand alignment. At RLR, we measure success by audience growth, quality engagement, and social impact. The right candidate has a strong handle on trends and innovations in the social space—you live and breathe “what’s next?”—and can iterate workflows, systems, and new technologies while contributing to cross-functional teams.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy to grow followers, views, and engagement across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube

  • Create and manage a content calendar aligned with our offerings, podcast episodes, events, and promotions

  • Integrate organic, paid, influencer, UGC, and social search into a cohesive strategy

  • Collaborate with the Communications Manager to craft content that reflects our tone and brand

  • Optimize content for platform-specific performance and trends

  • Track analytics, report on performance, and refine strategy based on results

  • Identify opportunities to repurpose existing content and expert material

  • Manage scheduling and posting (we currently use Hootsuite, but are open to new tools)

Who You (Probably) Are

You’re someone who has the career experience to move the growth needle (with the campaign portfolio to back it up). You’ve likely been a strategy leader in corporate, agency, or B2C settings and are ready for a fresh opportunity, helping to drive an up-and-coming brand with early traction. With a content marketing background, you live at the intersection of brand strategy, impeccable creative execution, and meaningful analytics. You’re looking to shape social direction with a clear growth trajectory and a team open to your ideas. Importantly, social purpose is at the heart of your ambition.

  • Proven ability to build a powerful social strategy oriented to brand and growth goals—and the ability to implement it

  • Experience developing and leading community engagement, integrating organic, paid, influencer, UGC, and social search across platforms

  • Track record of delivering on business and brand alignment with metrics-driven optimization

  • Skilled at strategic storytelling, not just content execution

  • Solid handle on trends and innovations in the social space

  • Ability to iterate workflow processes, systems, and new technologies to improve efficiency and results

  • Comfortable contributing to cross-functional teams, balancing independent work with collaboration

  • Bonus: experience with Meta Ads, email marketing integration, and/or podcast promotion
