Creating Community, Connection & Joy: The Story of Real Love Ready

Real Love Ready founder Robin Ducharme is the recognizable voice of the Let's Talk Love podcast, but we don't often get to hear her story. 

So, who is Robin Ducharme? And, how did she come to start Real Love Ready?

Before starting RLR, Robin was a Matchmaker and Love coach — she was driven by her passion to connect deeply with people and help them find lasting partnership. “Matchmaking didn’t fulfill me. Love Coaching was way more up my alley. I was empowering my clients with knowledge of online dating, helping them write an awesome profile and coaching them before and after dates. They were in control of their own love lives and the results were much better. Many of my clients met partners and enjoyed having me as their cheerleader and confidant along the way.” says Robin.

Robin has cultivated a life full of close, joyful relationships with her family, friends and community using the very skills and practices discussed with global experts on her weekly IG Lives, and the Let’s Talk Love podcast. 

But, how did her journey take her from Matchmaker and Love Coach to launching the Real Love Ready platform? Not without its hardships. After the unexpected death of her father, her path veered away from the Love Business and into managing her family’s affairs and business for a few years. She experienced firsthand how tragedy can strike, taking you off course for a time.

When she was ready to get back into the Love Business, Robin sought counsel from her friend and mentor, Danielle LaPorte (one of the Expert Speakers at In Bloom!) to help her vision her dream company. With Danielle’s help, they explored what Robin was good at, what fueled her and how she could build a business that helps people. “I enjoy bringing people together to have meaningful conversations and share joy-filled experiences. I love LOVE. I’m also fascinated by human connection and by how beautiful and challenging our relationships can be. That day in 2019 with Danielle changed everything — Real Love Ready was born. I'm definitely on the right path. We are doing great things, continually learning and having so much fun along the way!” says Robin.
